Text : 1Corinthians 15:1-10
1 Corinthians 15:8 And last of all he was
seen of me also, as of one born out of due
1 Corinthians 15:9 For I am the least of the
apostles, that am not meet to be called an
apostle, because I persecuted the church of
1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God
I am what I am: and his grace which was
bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I
laboured more abundantly than they all: yet
not I, but the grace of God which was with
Destiny is not fixed, some people believe
that; no matter what you do, what will be,
will be, that is not correct. Our lives are
made: for instance; a medical doctor was
just an ordinary person, who was once a
pupil in primary school, later became a
science student in a college, went on to take
medical courses in university before
eventually becoming a medical doctor. The
processes he went through made him a
product – medical doctor.
Much more than education, God’s grace has
great capacity to Make any man, from our
text; v. 10 ‘But by the grace of God I am
what I am…’. This writer of this passage ,
Saul of Tasus whose name was changed to
Paul, was a terrorist, terrorizing the church
Acts 9:1, became a great apostle of the
gospel of Christ. He did great exploit for
Grace can take a man from the worst state
of life to the best of life, in v.8, he said he
was as of one born out of due time ( born in
wrong time ) but yet grace brought the best
out of him.
In verse 10, he also said; His grace was not
in vain upon me, that means he submitted
to the grace of God. He went on to say ‘….I
laboured more than they all..’ it means
grace does not give room to laziness, he
coupled grace with hard work to attain the
height he was.
I am simply saying that the best of our lives
manifest when we explore the grace that is
made available through Christ and couple it
with hard work. Spending time in God’s
presence makes grace available for us, the
place of grace is God’s presence, time of
prayer and meditation on God’s word is the
time you tap into grace, if you do it
regularly, you’ll get grace regularly. God
bless you.
* By your grace oh Lord, make the best out
of me.
* It is another day to wait upon the Lord in
fasting and prayer, make your request
known today.
* Take time to address issues that border
