PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
25th October
Topic: ON THE LORD’S SIDE
Text: Numbers 16:1-33KjV
26- And he spake unto the congregation,
saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of
these wicked men, and touch nothing of
their’s, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
27- So they gat up from the tabernacle of
Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side:
and Dathan and Abiram came out, and
stood in the door of their tents, and their
wives, and their sons, and their little
children.
28-And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know
that the LORD hath sent me to do all these
works; for I have not done them of mine
own mind.
31-And it came to pass, as he had made an
end of speaking all these words, that the
ground clave asunder that was under them:
Every man has a choice to make between
two options. The options are to be on the
Lord’s side (stand for God) or to be on the
other side (stand against God). Anyone who
is not actively on God’s side surely is not on
God’s side and that could only mean the
person is against God even though he/she
may passively be against of God.
Anyone who is on the Lord’s side will enjoy
the salvation of God, but anyone against
God will surely be crushed by the wrath of
God. It is therefore dangerous to be against
God either actively or passively.
A careful look into our text above, was a
story of Korah, Dathan, Abiram and two
hundred and fifty princes of Israel who
conspired against Moses. God was angry
with them and wanted to destroy all the
conspirators and the congregation around
the conspirators but Moses pleaded with
God not destroy the congregation around
the conspirators who are more or less
passive about the matter, so God gave
Moses opportunity to warn the
congregation to separate themselves by
moving away from the houses, properties
and the areas of location of the
conspirators so that the destruction of God
will not come upon them likewise.
Dearly beloved, which side are? On the
Lord’s side or on the other side. Please note:
* When you work against God purpose in
any way whether in the life of a child of
God, a ministry commissioned by God, a
family of God’s children e.t.c you are not for
God but against God. Be careful because
anyone against God is playing with wrath of
God. And if you are not born again you are
against God, and eternal judgment awaits
all sinners (John3:3), so repent today and be
on the Lord’s side and your salvation will
come from God. God bless you
PRAYER
* Father, help me never to be against you in
any areas of my life in Jesus Name
* Every way, I have worked against your
purpose. Lord have mercy on me today in
Jesus Name.
