Text. : Proverbs 4:1-10
Proverbs 4:5 Get wisdom, get
understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Proverbs 4:6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
As food is to the body, so is knowledge to life. For a child to grow, food is inevitable, for anyone who wants success in life,
knowledge is inevitable, a man is limited by how far he knows. Ignorance has left many in a place of mediocrity, many made with
precious gifts live undesirable lives because of lack of knowledge, many have died untimely without fulfilling destiny.
Look at this: Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to
me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Destruction is inevitable where there is lack of knowledge, acquiring knowledge is improving one’s life and productivity.
Getting relevant knowledge is the first step in changing levels, it is the beginning of movement to great height, acquiring relevant knowledge in your area of calling and purpose is synonymous to possessing great treasures. With all thy getting get understanding.
PRAYER.
* Help me not to be void of relevant
knowledge for my destiny.
