Topic: DESTROYING THE WORKS OF THE
DEVIL
Text. : 1 John 3:1-10
1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the
devil; for the devil sinneth from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of God
was manifested, that he might destroy the
works of the devil.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth
not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in
him: and he cannot sin, because he is born
of God.
1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are
manifest, and the children of the devil:
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not
of God, neither he that loveth not his
brother.
The devil, after his fell, became the enemy
of man, he tries in all ramifications to steal
the peace of man. Every man is made with
blessing, glory, honor, dignity etc, but
because the devil is a loser, he wants
everyone to lose every gifting of God. He
wants you to lose every precious thing God
has given you.
The devil works contrary to your progress,
success, lifting, breakthrough etc, being
ignorant of the devices of the Devil is when
you don’t do anything about him and his
works.
Understanding that Jesus has given you
power over the devil and his works is right
knowledge, destroying his works is wisdom.
Everyone who folds his arms and expect
things to take care of themselves is not
wise, and will continually be disappointed,
every wise believer will utilize the power
God has given him or her over Devil and his
host, destroying their works through prayer,
uprooting everything God has not planted,
taking back all that the devil has stolen, that
is our focus today, putting the devil where
he belongs. It is another day to fast and
pray to possess your possessions.
PRAYER.
* I destroy by fire this day every satanic
work in my life and family.
* I uproot every evil thing the devil has
planted in my life and family.
* Whatever the enemy has stolen from me
and my family, I take it back right now.
* Every evil hand working against my
progress, be destroyed in Jesus name.
