Topic: OBTAINING GRACE
Text. : Hebrews 4:1-16
Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a
great high priest, that is passed into the
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold
fast our profession.
Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high
priest which cannot be touched with the
feeling of our infirmities; but was in all
points tempted like as we are, yet without
sin.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly
unto the throne of grace, that we may
obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time
of need.
For many years now, I have always define
grace as DIVINE ENABLEMENT or DIVINE
EMPOWERMENT. This is God’s ability in
mortal being to do what is beyond his
mortal ability, when you seek God’s face for
any area of need, God gives you grace to
meet that need.
This illustration will help you; when there is
a financial need, and one begins to pray and
seek God’s face for financial breakthrough,
God won’t rain money from heaven, He
simply gives you grace to make money. This
is applicable to other areas of needs, when
you need marital breakthrough, He gives
you grace to meet your right man or
woman, when there is health challenge, He
releases grace for sound health, where ever
your human capacity fails, grace can never
fail.
There is a place called ‘ The Throne of Grace
‘, that is where grace is available, everyone
who needs it, comes there to receive, it is
the presence of the almighty God. Spending
time in God’s presence, connects you to
grace, no shortcut, coming boldly to God’s
presence, brings grace upon your life for
any kind of need. I am talking from
experience, from my teen ages I have learnt
to shut the door against myself and seek
God’s face, and my life has not been short
of God’s grace.
If you can practice this often, you will see
yourself breaking barriers, flying high,
impossibility will become possible. Am not
talking about just managing to do quiet
time for few minutes, am talking about
being alone with God for hours;
worshipping Him, praying, making your
request known; you will see rocks and
mountains breaking into pieces before you.

PRAYER.
* Help me to desire our presence, Lord.
* Help me to seek you with the whole of
heart.
* Release grace for area of need in my life.
It is another day to seek the face of God in
prayer and fasting, endeavor to be part of it,
visit the throne of grace to obtain grace for
area of need today.
