Topic: TRUST
Text: Matthew 25:32-46 KJV
43- I was a stranger, and ye took me not in:
naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in
prison, and ye visited me not.
44- Then shall they also answer him, saying,
Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or
athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in
prison, and did
not minister unto thee?
45- Then shall he answer them, saying,
Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it
not to one of the least of these, ye did it not
to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting
punishment: but the righteous into life
eternal.
Trust can be defined as belief that someone
or something is reliable, good, honest,
effective, and will not harm you, it can also
mean confidence to leave valuables in
someone’s care. In our world today, it is a
common phenomenon that people want
others to be trustworthy while they
themselves cannot be trusted.
Trust is an important moral attribute that
everyone should exhibit. As a leader, a
counselor or a teacher, people should be
able to trust you with their secrets, as a
family member, other members should be
able to trust you with their secret, money
and property, as an employee your
employer should be able to trust, and as a
business partner your fellow partner should
be able to trust with business dealings even
when he/she is absent.
I heard people say they can’t keep money
for others because they don’t trust
themselves that they won’t spend such
money. A lot have diverted money sent to
them for a project on behalf of family
members living abroad for their own
personal use, while some has converted
other people’s property in their care to
theirs, what a world of deceit we live in.
Dearly beloved, from our text above, Jesus
said, whatever you did to your fellow, you
did it to Him (Jesus) and remember we shall
give account of our lives on earth to God,
therefore as a worker, employee, business
partner e.t.c choose to be trustworthy and
not deceitful. God bless you, have a fruitful
week.
PRAYER
* Every way have been a cheat or a deceit,
Father have mercy on me in Jesus Name
* Father, help me to be a reliable and a
stable person and not an hypocrite or men
pleaser in Jesus Name
