Topic: RAISED TO PRAISE
Text. : 1 Peter 2:1-11
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a
peculiar people; that ye should shew forth
the praises of him who hath called you out
of darkness into his marvellous light:
1 Peter 2:10 Which in time past were not a
people, but are now the people of God:
which had not obtained mercy, but now
have obtained mercy.
Nothing exist without a purpose, there are
many creatures in the world, all are made
with purpose, and none is expected to
function outside purpose. In fact there is no
need to make a thing if its purpose will not
be met. Just as plants are meant to be food
for human beings, animals serve as meat
for man, shelter is needed as place of abode
for man, water is for cleaning and coolness
for man, oxygen is needed for proper
breathing, man is made to praise his maker.
I discovered that the last creature is man,
this is because everything man needs must
be provided so he will have no reason for
not fulfilling his purpose. Man is made to be
God’s praise singer. The peculiar
recognition God is giving to man is for the
purpose of his peculiar assignment, and
man is expected to concentrate on this
assignment. Verse 9 states this clearly
‘….that he should show forth the praise of
Him (God). Your life is expected to praise
God always, glorify God in all you do.
Declare His praise everywhere you go. God
bless you.

* Lord help me not to fall out purpose.
