Topic: A LOST HOME (Part 2)
Text: Job 1:1-22KJV
8- And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
9- Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10- Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
12- And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
In our devotional last week we considered that a home can be lost to the devil through sin and carelessness as we read in the case of Priest Eli and his household in 1 Samuel 2:27-35. Today we want to consider another probable cause of a lost home.
Another cause of a lost home is affliction or attack from the kingdom of darkness.
From our text above, God was proud about the life of Job and told devil that Job was a perfect and upright man, but devil argued in verse 10, that Job was only serving because of the things God has done for him and he went further to request that God should permit him (devil) to afflict Job and God would see that Job will deny God in the face of afflictions. God permitted devil to afflict Job in everything except that devil should not kill Job.
Beloved, the devil afflicted Job on every side such that he lost everything he had in a day including his seven sons and three daughters. His wife who should have been a consolation to him also told Job to curse God and die (Job 2:6-9), and so Job lost his home to the afflictions of the devil.
Dearly beloved, is you home or that of your loved ones afflicted by the powers of darkness, pray to God to deliver your home today by His Mighty Power, also intercede for families or homes around you that at lost to devil either through sin, carelessness or afflictions. Pray that God should restore the lost homes as he restored the home of Job and all that he lost. God bless you

* Father deliver my household from every affliction of the enemies in Jesus Name
* There shall be no loss of lives, business or property in my family in Jesus Name
* Father restore every lost home by your mercy in Jesus Name.
