Text. : Hebrews 12: 1-14
Hebrews 12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
Hebrews 12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
The worth of a man is not measured by his wealth and riches but by impact he made in the lives of others. Living a selfish life is not an attribute of Christ, Christ has called us to impact people positively, shutting your door to those in needs, is absolutely not of Christ’s likeness. Taking pleasure at the downfall of your neighbor is satanic. God expects every of His children to show love, sharing your resources to benefit others.
From our passage ‘ lift up the hands which hang down ‘, we are expected to render helping hand to those in need, someone lost his job, see how you can assist, your neighbor’s children are out of school because of fees, don’t take pleasure in that by feeling you are better than him, but find a way to assist.
As agent of light, we must give our quota in helping people out of problem. Life will be interesting if we all can take up this challenge, the person you give a meal will be grateful to God for you. Your $5, $10, and $50 will make sense to the poor man or woman around you. Endeavor to be a blessing, let some people thank God for you, let people be happy they meet you. When we show love, brutality will reduce drastically, violence and tension will seize. I challenge you today, look around for someone to bless this weekend. God bless you real good.
