Topic: MANIFESTATION OF GREATNESS
Text: Romans 8:17-19KJV
17- And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18- For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19- For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
The Almighty God is a great God and there is no doubt about that. Isaiah 66:1 testified that God is so great that He made the heaven His throne and the earth His footstool, Psalms 104:1-3 also said God is great, and He is clothed with honour and majesty. He covered Himself with light as with a garment, stretched out the heavens like a curtain, He makes the clouds His chariot and walks upon the wings of the wind.
As great as God is, He does manifest His greatness in/through men as He pleases. For examples the victory of David (a shepherd boy) over Goliath (a giant warrior from his youth) with just one stone and not a sword. Not even spear nor javelin but manifestation of God’s greatness through David (1 Samuel 17). God also did manifest His greatness in the children of Israel such that, no nation could dare them even while they were few in number and when they wandered as strangers from Egypt till they got to the promise land. Let’s read what Psalm 105:12-15 says about the Israelites “When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it. When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
Dearly beloved, God can manifest His greatness through you also, I tell you the truth it will be a wonderful experience, if only you ask Him in prayer. God bless you
