PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
2nd August
Topic: PUSH FOR BREAKTHROUGH
Text: Luke 18: 1-8 KJV
1- And he spake a parable unto them to this
end, that men ought always to pray, and
not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which
feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and
she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of
mine adversary.
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I
will avenge her, lest by her continual
coming she weary me.
Push is used here to connote putting
required effort leading to breakthrough. It
means as God has promised of Mega
Breakthrough for the month of August, you
also do your own part to enter into the
fulfillment of God’s promise of
breakthrough. From our devotion yesterday,
Peter received the right direction for his
breakthrough after two things:
* He surrendered his boat for Jesus to
preach the gospel
* He stayed with Jesus while Jesus was
preaching the gospel
This meant that Peter did something or took
some steps before his breakthrough came.
Dearly beloved, from our text today, the
widow needed justice and would not let
that judge to rest until she was avenged of
her adversaries, meaning she kept on
pushing for what she desired until she got
it. Beloved as you go in this month of
August, you have got to play your part for
the mega breakthrough, you have got to:
* PUSH in place of prayer (Luke 18:1)
* PUSH through the word of God (Joshua
1:8)
* PUSH by relying on God alone and not
men
* PUSH through diligence, commitment and
faithfulness to labour and ministry.
* PUSH in righteousness, PUSH in holiness,
PUSH, PUSH, PUSH unto your Mega
Breakthrough. God bless you
PRAYER
* Father, I will not miss my blessing this
month in the name of Jesus
* Father, I will not be weary or lazy to PUSH
through to my Mega Breakthrough in Jesus
