Topic : EVERYTHING WILL BE GONE
Text. : 1John 2:1-29
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
This world is old enough before God, how do I mean? This world is not suppose to be forever. It not a permanent habitat, there is timing for it demolition. Every prophecy of Jesus about end time is fast coming to past. Jesus was very explicit when talking about end time in Matthew chapter 24:
* In verse He said ‘….. there shall not one stone be left on another, that shall not be thrown down.
* In verses verse 4 and 5 he talked about deception.
* Verse 6 talked about rumors of war.
* Verse 7 talked about famines, pestilences and earthquakes in divers places.
* Verse 9 killings of the beloved.
* Verse 10: betrayal of one another.
* verse 11 talked about rising of false prophets.
* verse 12 says iniquity ( sin) will abound.
All these are fast coming to pass and the world itself is fast moving to an end. Can I shock you? God is in a haste to bring this world to an end, how do I mean? His eyes are too pure to behold the immoralities, atrocities, killings, deception, injustice, corruption, the homosexuality, nudity, blasphemy, stealing, etcs. If you remember what happened to Sodom and Gomorah, you will agree with me that He is in a haste to wrap up this world.
The good news is that He is making a beautiful world for His saints:
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
This is strictly for those who have been washed by the blood of Jesus. Are you one of them? Will you be ready when the Lord shall come?
