Topic: DEALING WITH FALSEHOOD
Text. : Isaiah 59: 1-15
Isaiah 59:13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
Isaiah 59:14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
Isaiah 59:15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
Falsehood is common everywhere, even in the church, the spirit of falsehood seems to be felt in many places, falsehood in business, in family, at work, and our worship center. It absolutely obvious that trust is gradually being eroded in our society.
It is amazing to see people giving you assurance on falsehood, even in the name of the Lord, but everyone, who knows the danger of falsehood, flee from it. When someone believes your lies, you make such fellow lose something, and some days you might loss the same, even more. Some have made money through deception, you can be sure, such money does not bring joy but sorrow, because they made someone cry somewhere.
A life built on falsehood cannot find joy and happiness, of course money cannot buy joy, where people have to pay for your falsehood, some days, you might have to pay much more. God detest falsehood, a lying tongue is an abomination to the Lord. Truth at all times brings lasting blessing.
PRAYER.
* Lord forgive my lifestyle of falsehood.
* Help me to be truthful at all time.
