Topic: SPECTACULAR ACTS OF WONDERS
Text: Exodus 15:11 KJV
Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Spectacular means something exciting, amazing or worthy of special notice. The Almighty God Himself is spectacular, It is so exciting to know Him, because the more you know Him, the more you will want to know Him. If He blesses you, you wouldn’t want Him to stop blessing you.
Another spectacular thing about God is that He does exciting wonders.
One generation that experienced God’s wonders in diverse ways were the Israelites. For example in Exodus 14:21, God parted the red sea for them to pass through when they were stuck between the red sea and armies of Pharoah. At another instance in Exodus 17:6, God made the rock to bring forth water for the them to drink.
Many other acts of wonders of God among Israel are these:
* He fed them with manna in the wilderness
* He caused the first born of their enemies (Egyptian children and livestocks) to die
* He brought a plague of locust to destroy the crops on the farm of their enemies (Egyptians)
* He turned the waters of their enemies (Egyptians) to blood
* He went with them as a pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night.
Beloved, the above spectacular acts of wonders made the Israelites become wonders (even till today) to other nations, I pray that God will make you a wonder to your generation in Jesus Name.
PRAYER
1. Father beautify my life with spectacular acts of wonders
2. Amidst this difficult time, do great wonders in my life and family
3. Oh God, beginning from today change my name to wonder
4. Let everything about me speaks of your wonders in Jesus Name.
