Text. : Joshua 3:1-17
Joshua 3:5 And Joshua said unto the people,
Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the
LORD will do wonders among you.
Joshua 3:6 And Joshua spake unto the
priests, saying, Take up the ark of the
covenant, and pass over before the people.
And they took up the ark of the covenant,
and went before the people.
Joshua 3:17 And the priests that bare the
ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm
on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and
all the Israelites passed over on dry ground,
until all the people were passed clean over
Jordan.
Every surgeon needs a patient’s consent to
carryout surgery on him or her, in like
manner, God needs our attention and
cooperation for His supernatural move in
our lives. When God is ready to do great
things for His people, His people got to
prepare themselves, the very first and
foremost preparation God needs from us is
clearly explained in our passage ; ‘ sanctify
yourselves .’
This is absolutely important because, God
cannot put up with sin, His eyes are purer
than to behold iniquity, look at this Hosea
7:1 ‘When I would have healed Israel, then
the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and
the wickedness of Samaria…’ Sin is a major
hindrance to the move of God in our lives,
as we wait upon the Lord for these 16 days,
ensure sin is not a barrier to your miracles,
ensure you are do not miss any day, follow
all instructions given through this platform
and you will definitely have testimonies, as
you wait in fasting and prayer,your spirit
will connect to the Holy Spirit and you will
experience the supernatural. God bless you.
