Topic: A DILIGENT WATCHMAN
Text: Ezekiel 22:30, KJV
30-And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
God often seeks for a man who will be a watchman over a life, a home, a city or even a nation for Him (God) to accomplish His purpose over that life, home, city or nation. From our text above, God sought for a man who would intercede for that nation that He (God) might not destroy it, but unfortunately He found none and so, he destroyed that land.
Abraham was a good example of a diligent watchman, he watched over Sodom and Gomorrah in prayer, and He prevailed with God in prayer to save Lot and his family before God destroyed that city with fire (Genesis 18:17-33).
Dearly beloved, by the leading of the Holy spirit, a prophetic release was made in yesterday’s devotion (DIVINE SATISFACTION from Isaiah 41:1-20) upon you for the month of July. Those declarations are scripture-based and not just mere words of a man’s imagination. However, you need to be a diligent watchman for your life, your home and even your nation, for those prophetic release to come to pass. God has spoken that July is a month of Divine Satisfaction but you have to watch diligently in prayer, in fasting, in the word of God till those prophetic release come to pass in your life and family. Take note that if you fold your arms or care less about it, nothing may happen and July may just be as ordinary as any other months even when God has spoken through His words of Divine Satisfaction. Therefore, be wise, be a diligent watchman for yourself and for your home. God bless you.
PRAYER:
Father, please make me a diligent watchman that you can count on for my home, my people and my nation, in Jesus Name.
