Topic: OPENING YOUR HEAVEN
Text: 2 Chronicles 7:1-14
7:13 – If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
7:14 – If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
The first point I want to explain here is the fact that everyone has an heaven space over his or her head. To put it in clearer terms, you have an heaven space while I have my heaven space as well. Deuteronomy 28:23 emphasises that: ‘And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.’
The second point is this, only God controls the heavens, he opens and closes it at His pleasure. The opening or closing is determined by Him and what He wants to do. He opens it to bless and closes it to punish.
When the heaven of a man is closed; prosperity becomes difficult, such a man labours hard to get little. When the heaven is opened upon a man; there will be showers of blessings over what he does.
Remember, God opens the heavens at His pleasure. The simple way of opening your heaven is to please God. When you set your heart to obey God’s ways, He definitely opens your heaven for prosperity in all you do, there will be answers to prayers, there will be miracles in your life and achieving good things becomes easy.
Additionally, prayer is a strong tool in opening your heaven, as you obey God’s word give yourself to prayers as well. God bless you.
PRAYER
* Ask God to cleanse you from every sin that locks your heaven;
* Ask Him for grace to please Him in all ways;
* Declare your heaven opened;
* It is another day to wait upon the Lord, endeavor to be a part of it.
