Topic; A WISE WORKER
Text. : Proverbs 4:1-11
Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Proverbs 4:8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
The economic down time of the world makes it difficult for several companies to do well, this result to mass retrenchment of workers, within the last one month several people have lost their jobs, we don’t know which company will downsize next.
I got counsel for employees, no one prays for evil but those affected might be going through tough time now, here is wisdom; get something else doing while you are on salary, you can not stop employers from taking decisions in their own interest, but you can make wise decision in your own interest. When a company is not doing well, the managers won’t decide to sell the company’s assets, they can’t influence light bill, cost of fuel for their machines, can’t influence taxes but can influence wage bill, and the fattest way to do that is to retrench.
MY CANDID ADVICE
* Sell something: get good products, essential products, what people must buy.
* Take counsel from those in business but don’t allow people to discourage you with their negative experience in business.
* Know that when and where things are expensive what you sell too will be expensive.
* Reduce recurrent expenses. GOD BLESS YOU.
