Topic : BLESSING THROUGH PRAISE
Text. : Psalms 67:1-7
Psalms 67:5 Let the people praise thee, O
God; let all the people praise thee.
Psalms 67:6 Then shall the earth yield her
increase; and God, even our own God, shall
bless us.
Psalms 67:7 God shall bless us; and all the
ends of the earth shall fear him.
At the this time of economic meltdown in
many countries businesses are crumbling,
currencies devalued, there is high rate of
retrenchment by employers thereby
causing high level of redundancy, life seems
to be unbearable for many. These naturally
have capacity to weigh many people down,
many do not see reasons to praise but
rather complain.
I like the scriptures because therein you
found solution to every problem, our
passage shows us way out of recession, very
very explicit, you actually do not need
anyone to explain it to you, v5 says ‘ Let the
people praise thee, o God,…… ‘ v6 ‘ then
shall the earth yield her increase and, and
God, even our own God, shall bless us’. This
means: as we praise the Lord our land shall
yield her increase, our nation will prosper.
I need to explain something here, everyone
has his or her land space In the spirit
realms, statement like ‘ I will bring you to
your own land ‘ is common in old
testament, as you praise God instead of
complaining God will cause your land to
yield increase unto you. Down feel down,
endeavor to praise God and your life will
experience a turn around. GOD BLESS YOU.
