Text. : Proverbs 22:1-10
Proverbs 22:1 A GOOD name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
Everyone has a name, and the first thing that identifies you is your name, all your doings are connected to your name. Name can be dignified and undignified, what makes the difference is your character, attitude or habit. Dignified people have goodwill to their names, their names earn respect even in their absence, their children also partake of their goodwill even when they are gone.
In pursuit for wealth and riches many people have brought stains on themselves and thereby eroding themselves of goodwill that should have been attached to their names, it is important we watch our actions, the world is a global village and where you think you are not known some people know you too well, some can actually tell you what you think is hidden about you.
It is absolutely important you maintain good relationship with people, some days they might be the one to recommend you to destiny helpers, everyone who seeks to earn a good name should go extra miles to make peace with people.
