Topic : SEEKING THE LORD
Text. : Jeremiah 29:1-14
Jeremiah 29:12 Then shall ye call upon me,
and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will
hearken unto you.
Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and
find me, when ye shall search for me with
all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:14 And I will be found of you,
saith the LORD: and I will turn away your
captivity, and I will gather you from all the
nations, and from all the places whither I
have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will
bring you again into the place whence I
caused you to be carried away captive.
As I search the scriptures I found out that
God delights fellowship with man, the very
first thing that caught my attention is the
fact that Adam never called for fellowship
with God but God did visit him. I observed
that God did not make a worship centre in
Eden, maybe because He could always visit
man anywhere at any point in time before
the fall of man.
When man fell ,’ Genesis 6:3 And the LORD
said, My spirit shall not always strive with
man, for that he also is flesh…’ the order
then change to this :Jeremiah 29:13 And ye
shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall
search for me with all your heart.
He longer visit man as He did to Adam, man
must seek Him first and then of course He
will reveal Himself to who truly seek Him.
Commitment is needed from everyone who
desires Him, and He will definitely not deny
such fellow His presence and everything
that comes with His presence, check
everyone who has and who is doing exploits
in the Lord, he or she must have spent time
with God. This is where we draw our
inspiration in PREVAILING FAMILY, and that
is the reason we organise ‘7 Hours with God
‘, ’24 Hours with God ‘ and ‘ 3 Days with God
‘ . The one starting 4pm today is ‘ 24 HOURS
WITH GOD ‘ spectacular things will happen
in your life as you participate with us. God
