Topic: PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS
text. : 2 Corinthians 10: 1-18
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not
war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of
our warfare are not carnal, but mighty
through God to the pulling down of strong
holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every
high thing that exalteth itself against the
knowledge of God, and bringing into
captivity every thought to the obedience of
Christ;
Stronghold is defined as a strongly fortified
defensive structure. Our focus today is
dealing with every structure the devil has
built around our lives, from our text our
weapons are not canal (physical, visible),
the fact that we deal with invisible forces
explains why our weapons are not visible.
Everyone who is born of God is empowered
by God to pull down unfavourable structure
built around his or her life. Stronghold can
be built and can be destroyed
* Building Strongholds
– It can be built by words, in 1Cronicles 4:9
Jabez’ mother built stronghold of sorrow
around his life by words.
– It can be built through thought
(imaginations) Proverbs 23:7.
– Strongholds can be built through sin.
* Destroying Strongholds
– Profess positive things in your life , bless
yourself always.
– Disallow evil thoughts ,try not to
remember past negative experiences.
– Abstain from sin, this is ABSOLUTELY
IMPORTANT.
– Through prayer destroy every evil
structure built around your life.
Devil is too small to determine what
happens in your life. Your life is packaged
by God to function at its best, so any evil
structure you see around your life is not of
God but of the devil, reject every evil dream
you had, it won’t stand and it won’t come to
pass. GOD BLESS YOU.
PRAYER.
* I destroy every evil structure built around
my life in the name of Jesus.
* Everything packaged by the devil to slow
down my progress be destroyed in Jesus
name.
* It is another day wait upon the Lord ,
endeavor to be part of it . Send your request
if any, we love you and we want to see you
prosper.
