Topic: THE FEAR OF THE LORD Part 2
Text: Proverbs 1:7-8 KJV
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of
knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and
instruction.
8 My son, hear the instruction of thy
father, and forsake not the law of thy
mother
The only one to be feared is God. I have not
read anywhere in the scriptures where it is
written that you should fear man or fear
the devil. I have only read that you should
love your neigbour as yourself, love your
enemies, pray for them that dispitefully use
you. I have also read that for devil, you
should resist him and he will flee (James
4:7), that you give no place to the devil
(Ephesian 4:27) and that you should not be
ignorant of devices of the devil
(2Corinthians 2:11).
One of the devices of the devil is that he
displays himself as powerful but actually it
is powerless power, he poses himself as
fearful, horrible structures and terrible
figures but really he is not. How do I know?
The bible say devil is a father lies (John
8:44), so it is impossible for the devil to tell
the truth. Therefore whatever he says is a
lie and the truth is just the opposite of what
he says. Meaning if devil says you are ugly
the real thing is that you are beautiful, if he
shows to you that he is powerful, it is just a
disguise, the real truth is that he is
powerless. Devil often creates fear in man
with his lies and once a child of God falls for
those lies then it now looks as if devil is
fearful and powerful.
Beloved let’s put the devil where he belongs
that is under the sole of your feet, only fear
God because that is the beginning of
wisdom. God bless you
PRAYER:
1. Father, I refuse to fall for the lies of devil
anymore in Jesus Name
2. From today, devil I place you where you
belong under the sole of my feet in Jesus
Name
