Topic: THE PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS
Text : Psalm 34: 1-27.
15.The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
17.The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
Not everyone who prays receives answer, prayer is being offered to the almighty God, holy and righteous God, He determines the affairs of the world, He determines request to be granted and the one not granted. The prayer of a sinner, except that of repentance, is an abomination unto him, though out of His mercies He shows love to sinners yet no sinner can get the best of Him except he or she repents.
God is holy and righteous, His eyes are too pure to behold iniquity, from our passage we learnt that ‘God’s eyes are upon the righteous’, this means God watches over them to ensure their safety, and ‘His ears are open unto their cry’ this means God is always ready to listen to the prayer of the righteous.
Verse 17 read thus: The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. It occur to me that the Lord does not joke with affairs of the righteous, everyone who is committed to living a righteous life is precious to Him. You can be in the class these precious people, by confessing your sins and forsaking them, then your voice will be recognised in heaven. God bless you.

* Grace to live righteously always God grant unto me.
* Present your request to God this day and expect miracles
* It is another day to wait upon the Lord, endeavour to be part of it.
