19th April
Topic: THE FOUNTAIN OF BLOOD
Text: Zecharia 13:1-9 KJV
1. In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
2. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
Apart from the name of Jesus, another key God has given to us is the blood of Jesus. We all know that there is life in the blood and blood speaks, but whereas other blood speaks evil things, vengeance, judgment e.t.c The blood of Jesus speaks better things (Hebrews 12:24):
* Speaks Mercy
* Speaks Deliverance
* Speaks Freedom
* Speaks Cleansing
* Speaks Protection
* Speaks Life (John 1:4)
* gives us boldness to approach the throne of grace Hebrews 4:16
Whereas other blood are minute in volume the blood of Jesus is a fountain, a well, a spring that can never dry and cannot not be exhausted
Whereas other blood are stagnant, the blood of Jesus flows
The benefits of the blood of Jesus is inexhaustible, but as a fountain how much of it have you used or are using, what measure of it do you take, a cup? a bucket? a bowl? or full immersion of your whole being in the blood. An hymn songs says “when sinners plugged beneath the blood, they lose all their guilt and stains”
Dearly beloved, when you need mercy, freedom, deliverance, protection, cleansing e.t.c plugged yourself totally beneath (immersion) the blood because it is a fountain and can never dry. God bless you
PRAYER:
Father, today I receive mercy, deliverance, freedom, life by the blood of Jesus in Jesus Name
