Topic: SELF EVALUATION
Text: 1 Corithians 10:11-12 KJV
Now all these things happened unto
them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
Self evaluation is meant to be a time to time appraisal of one self vis-a-vis ones goals, targets, dreams and aspirations. Today ends the first quarter of year 2016, and so its essential you and I evaluate ourselves how far have we gone these last three months? What is the rate and the measurement of our growth in every sphere of our lives? Have you added value to yourself and to your world? What are the things you ought to do that you procrastinated? What are the things you couldn’t do due to factors beyond your control or power? What are the limiting factors or challenges you encountered this last quarter and how did you overcome them. These and many more are questions we need to ask ourselves to adequately examine ourselves in preparation for the new quarter.
Our text today says let him that thinks he stand take heed less he fall. As you evaluate yourself sincerely and prayerfully, God will give you insight in Jesus Name. God bless you.
PRAYER:
Father, help me to take heed unto myself to stand firm in you in Jesus Name.
