Text: Matthew 7: 7-12kjv
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
The scriptures above admonish us to ask, seek and knock, all are geared toward getting something from God. When it comes to knocking, it has to do with doors. However, there are different levels and types of doors and as such different intensity or effort of knocking should be employed to get the desired result timely.
The main entrance door into a building should have high force of knocking compared to a door leading to a room, likewise the gate leading to a house should have higher force of knocking (I mean banging) compared to the main door of entrance into a building. Imagine a visitor who gets to a big gate of a house and his knocking passively as if knocking on a door leading to a room, you and I know such a person will knock for a long time and mostly likely without any response.
A typical example from the bible is Elijah. In 1Kings 17:1 Elijah decreed before King Ahab that there should be no rain for three years and half and it was so, but when the time elapse and he wanted rain to fall according to 1Kings 18:41-45, he did more than decree, he prayed vigorously for seven times with his head between his knees until there was a sign in the sky. Let’s assume the seven times were seven hours, it showed clearly that the effort and the intensity Elijah prayed for heavens to be opened for rain was more than when he decreed for heaven to be shut without rain.
Dearly beloved, today is our fasting and prayer day in Prevailing, as you knock by faith doors will be opened for you in Jesus Name.

Father, every door to my greatness be opened in Jesus Name.
