Topic: THAT NAME JESUS
Text: Phillipians 2: 1-11KJV
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
From our text above, the name Jesus is the name above all other names. The name is a mighty key or better still the master key to open all doors, conquer territories, pull down kingdoms, receive dominion and deliverance e.t.c Few things we can obtain through the name Jesus are:
* Salvation: Acts 4:12 says ” Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”
* Refuge: Proverbs 18:10 says “The name of the LORD is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe”
* Light : John 1:4 says ” In him was life; and the life was the light of men”
Our well-being, healing, success, greatness, fulfillment, breakthrough, miracles, promotions and all things of life are in the name of Jesus. Acts 17:28 says “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.”
All that we are and all that we want to be is the name of Jesus, even our help is in the name of Jesus.
Dearly beloved, the name Jesus is the greatest treasure and weapon that God has given us His children to be overcomers in this troubled world, trust in Him, believe in the name and let the name Jesus be a powerful name in your mouth. God bless you
