Topic: ATTITUDE OF PRAISE
Text : Psalm 9:1-20
1 KJV:I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
2 KJV:I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
3 KJV:When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
Just as food is extremely important to our body, so is praise to our God. No one can do without food, food is not luxury but necessity, it is not a thing of choice for anyone who want to continue to live but a mandate for surviver, eating obviously becomes an habit to everyone. Likewise, every child of God should make praise an habit.
Look at it in this way, God feeds on PRAISE, just as you don’t joke with food God does not joke with praise, He wants us to acknowledge Him always, to attribute all glory to Him always, He allows no one to share His praise or glory, it is wrong to say ‘if not for this person or that person’ but the right expression is this ‘thank God for this person or that person’.
Verse 1 reads thus ‘ KJV:I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. everyone should always show forth all is marvellous works. Always be in the attitude of praise. Do have a praiseful week.
