Text : Matthew 5 1-10
NLT:God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.
Our gospel is of peace and not of war, first of all, we were all enemies of God but Christ through His death and resurrection reconcile us to God, Christ is the giver of peace and instructed us to take after Him, spreading this gospel, encouraging people to live a peaceful life.
Many a times people provoke us, and sometimes our reactions to their actions might be justified but in the very heart of Christ, He expects us to work for peace. Note the word WORK, work means make effort to get something done, sometimes it looks hard but Christ expects us to work it out.
One major thing that differentiate us from unbelievers is the gospel we preach, Christ wants us to make sacrifices for peace, let some things go for peace sake, we should not be involved in quarrel, war, anything that is contrary to peace.
Peace makers are called blessed by God. GOD BLESS YOU.

* Lord help me to be at peace with all men.
