Topic: POSSIBILITY WITH GOD
Text : Luke 1:30-38
37 KJV:For with God nothing shall be
impossible.
Our text is an answer to virgin Mary’s
question of the possibility of conceiving
without being married to a man, Angel
Gabriel then said ‘For with God nothing
shall be impossible.’ Two valid important
meaning of Gabriel’s answer to Virgin Mary;
1, ‘with God’:’with’ connotes God’s
involvement, anything that involves God, no
matter how impossible it appears it will
definitely become possible, it is only when
God is not involved that is when it remains
impossible, but as long as God takes
interest, it will certainly become possible.
That is suppose to mean that if God is
interested in my case, He will definitely give
me my heart desire.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward
you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and
not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jeremiah 29:11 shows that God is interested
in our well being, prosperity, success, good
health, so this takes care of ‘WITH
GOD’ (meaning 1).
2, ‘With God’: it means connecting with
God, joining your hands with God, agreeing
with what God have in stock for you,
believing the word of God not doctor’s
report, not your feelings. To shock you, not
even believing facts, how do I mean? the
bible says ‘Abraham believed against hope
in hope (faith).’Romans 4:18. So even when
you come to a point where the fact of life is
against your well being, still believe the
word of God. Always believe what God’s
word says about you. Your faith in God is
stronger than the facts of life, God can go
extra mile to act in your favour. Look at this
:Beloved, I wish above all things that thou
mayest prosper and be in health, even as
thy soul prospereth. God takes delight in
your prosperity, DON’T GIVE UP.
PRAYER
* Believe God this day to make the
impossibility possible.
* Place your demand in faith this morning,
don’t pray base on facts but FAITH.
* It is another day to wait on the Lord
endeavour to be part of it.
