Topic: INCOMPARABLE LOVE
Text: 1 John 3:1-7 KJV
1. Behold, what manner of love the
Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God:
therefore the world knoweth us not,
because it knew him not.
2. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
God’s love to us is inferior to none and superior to all. The extent of His love is inexpressible. His love brought all things to us that pertain to life and godliness; salvation, sanctification, grace, deliverance, hope, joy, peace e.t.c
God’s love is so amazing, that even the devil would have wondered that what manner of love is this? There were two thieves beside Jesus on the cross, they were already condemned to go to hell because of their sins, the kingdom of darkness must have been so much glad that they did not only get Jesus to be crucified, they equally got two thieves to be in hell that same day, but the thief on the left side of Jesus suddenly cling to God’s love. He realized he was not innocent, been punished for his sins and requested that Jesus should remember him in paradise. Jesus granted his request and so the man’s place in hell became vacant and heaven became his new home all because he clung to God’s love.
Dearly beloved, God’s love is amazing and its available to all men, only if you can cling to His love so that you can be a wonder to the devil and to the world. God’s loves you, even if the world condemns you, God has not condemn you so long you are willing and ready to cling to His love and accept His offer of salvation. Remember God loves you and God bless you
