Topic: GOD DOES NOT CHANGE
Text: 2 Timothy 2:1-19 KJV
17. And their word will eat as doth a
canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and
Philetus;
18. Who concerning the truth have
erred, saying that the resurrection is
past already; and overthrow the faith of
some.
19. Nevertheless the foundation of God
standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord
knoweth them that are his. And, let every
one that nameth the name of Christ depart
from iniquity.
Many things have change in the last few
years, things that were seriously considered
abnormal some years ago are already
accepted as normal today. Let me site an
example for emphasis sake, some years ago
the issue of ladies putting on trousers to
church was an object of serious debate and
was not welcome in a lot of denominations,
but today its already accepted in a lot
denominations and considered no longer
abnormal. Those days virginity was a thing
of pride while those who were not hide
their faces but today if a lady says she is a
virgin amidst her friends they will look at
her as if she is abnormal, they will even tell
her she should not say such in the public,
that how much change has occur to
morality in the society. Premarital sex is so
common now that you imagine how the
world has changed and people no longer
fear God.
Dearly beloved, inspite of these changes,
God does not change, His words and
standard does not change.
Romans 6:23 says wages of sin is dead.
Galatians 6:8 says “Be not deceived; God is
not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth,
that shall he also reap.”
Matthew 24:12 says because inquity shall
abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
If you are currently being deceived by the
devil against God’s commandment ask God
to forgive you, repent and cling to the
unchanged God in this changing world. God
bless you.

1. Father, help me to remain connected to
you inspite of the distractions of this world
