Topic: LIVING IN PURPOSE
Text : Acts 13:1-14
1 KJV:Now there were in the church that
was at Antioch certain prophets and
teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was
called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and
Manaen, which had been brought up with
Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
2 KJV:As they ministered to the Lord, and
fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me
Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I
have called them.
Everyone and everything are made with
purpose, God is a perfect creator and no
part of His time was wasted at creation, He
made no useless man or useless thing. Just
as you won’t go the market and buy any
useless thing likewise God didn’t for once
make anything or anyone that is useless. A
thing becomes useless when its purpose is
not known likewise human being, failure to
discover purpose in life makes a life useless.
When purpose of a life is not known
misplaced priority becomes the order of the
day, everyone who wants the best from life
must understands that he or she can not
just lay hands on anything and call thing
WORK or OCCUPATION. Your best comes
when you discover what the creator has
made you to do.

Pastor E.A Adeboye is a medical doctor he
won’t have functioned at his peak, if Pastor
W.F. Kumuyi is the CEO of a big company
what a great loss of destiny it would have
been? If Don Meon is banker it would have
been destiny for sale, if Lionel Messi is a
musician he might not be he might be
known. If Micheal Faraday was an
accountant discovering electricity might
take a little time more, all these people l
mentioned here are stars in their
generation simply because they do what
they are made to do, when you take up
another man’s assignment your star can’t
shine at it best.
It is absolutely important to seek the face of
God to give you direction about your life
and what do. God bless you, do have a
purposeful week.
