Topic: DENYING UNGODLINESS
Text : Titus 2:1-15
11 KJV:For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 KJV:Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 KJV:Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Anyone who has given his or her life to Christ is called unto godliness, believers are called to live godly in this present world, our world is filled with all kinds of ungodly lifestyle and believers are gradually been swept by the practises of the world. You need to understand that godliness is the opposite of worldliness, our God totally detest worldliness, look at this 4 KJV:Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Worldly practises are contrary to the word of God, and every child of God is expected to stay far from worldly practises, God expects all His children to live godly though living in corrupt environment. The grace of God ……teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lust and that we should live soberly and righteously in this world.
Put your life on check, are you living worldly or righteously? you can’t do what everybody does as a child of God.
PRAYER:
* Help me to live righteously in this dirty world.
