Topic: JOY COMES IN THE MORNING
Text: Psalms 30: 4-5 KJV
4. Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Time is of the essence of life, we can’t talk about life without talking about time. Part of the time of life are the night and day times. Genesis 8:22 says while the earth remains day and night shall no cease meaning there will always be night and day as long as the earth is in existence. Naturally the night and day have their peculiar features
FEATURES OF THE NIGHT
* Its always quiet, you possibly can’t talk with anyone or have anyone to share you challenges with except God
* Its a time one stays alone (loneliness), even if you are many in the house, you will still sleep and wake up on your own
* Its a time of no activity, all good works stay dormant and seriously passive
* Its a time of compulsory rest whether you like it or not
* Its a time evil operates e.g thief and spiritual wicked perpetrators
All the above features are spiritually applicable to anyone who is going through the night time e.g weeping, loneliness, stagnacy, rejection, oppression from the devil e.t.c But the good news according to our text is that weeping only endures the night as Joy comes in the morning. It does not matter how long the night is, it will expire as the day breaks. I decree into your life that your night of weeping will end, your day will break with joy in Jesus Name. One thing that is important is that even if there may be no one to talk with during your night don’t stop talking to your God in prayer because He is the one who can cause your morning to break with Joy. PRAYER:
1. Lord, the time of night will not see my end, rather I will see the end of the time of night in Jesus Name
2. The time of night will not swallow up my destiny in Jesus Name
3. Father, terminate the time of the night in my life and let my morning comes with Joy in Jesus Name
