Text : Psalm 127:1-5
1 KJV:Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
2 KJV:It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
Man’s effort is not sufficient to bring about breakthrough in life, no man can exist without the help of Him who made him, life will be full of regrets and wasted effort if there is no divine touch on such life, wishes and desires remain mere dream except there is divine touch on them.
the best planner can’t get anything done without divine assistance, every labour of man will be fruitless except the Lord put His hand, you need to also understand that as you set plans the devil and his host also make plans and their is always in contradiction with God’s plan for you.
Look at this KJV:He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. 1Samuel 2:9 God keeps the feet, the steps, the plans, the programme, of HIS SAINTS for by strength shall no man prevail, no one can prevail by his own strength, knowledge, wealth, skills, but God is committed to keeping the feet of His saints. A saint is anyone who has been washed with the blood of Jesus, and who abstains from sin.
If you want God to prosper your ways, work, business this year you must be enlisted among His saints.
PRAYER.
Lord help me to abstain from sin and please you in all my ways.
