Topic: ENEMIES OF MANIFESTATION
Text: Matthew 2: 1-13 KJV
3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship
him also.
12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
As God and the world await the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8: 19) likewise the devil waits to hinder such manifestation.
There are two principal enemies of manifestation of glory:
1. SELF: A person can be his own enemy of manifestation due to laziness, carelessness, bad character, fear, doubt e.t.c In the parable of the talents according to Matthew 25:14-30, the third servant given one talent hindered his own manifestation into everlasting glory due to wickedness and laziness such that God withdrawn the gift He gave him to manifest and gave another. May you not be your own enemy in Jesus Name.
2. DEVIL: The devil by himself or through his agents are enemies of glory manifestation. From our text today, king Herod wanted to stop the fulfillment of long years of prophesy about the birth of Jesus (Isaiah 9:6) and the manifestation of a new born baby; JESUS. He even ordered the mass killing of new born babies in his kingdom just to destroy the coming of the saviour. But thank God, for the failure of king Herod, for the birth and the ministry of Jesus, for the salvation of the world and for the celebration of this season-CHRISTMAS. I pray as the devil could not stop Jesus, he will be unable to stop you in Jesus Name. God bless you

1. Let nothing be strong enough to hinder my manifestation in Jesus Name
2. I rise above limitations and obstacles meant to stop me from the pit of hell in Jesus Name
