Topic: MERCY SPEAKS
Text: Ephesians 2:1-10 KJV
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Mercy has a voice and it speaks. When Mercy speaks, labour and struggles cease, protocols are waived, barriers and upstacles are by-passed and God’s love is greatly expressed e.t.c
Our text says God is rich in mercy, he saved us by His mercy and not by our works, so God’s mercy spoke for our salvation even while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8)
The man who was born blind according to John 9:1-12, experienced the voice of mercy. He never made any attempt to seek for Jesus, he possibly was not even aware of any one called Jesus because he had been blind all his life. He must have concluded that he would die a blind man without any hope of ever seeing with his eyes, many must have even told him that it was his destiny to be blind all the days of his life, but MERCY spoke for him. How? (1)By making Jesus to pass by the blind man (2)By making the disciples of Jesus to start a conversation with Jesus about the blind man and before he knew it the man who was born blind became a man with sight, his darkness suddenly turn to light. I pray for you that by the mercy of God every darkness in your life will suddenly turn to light in Jesus Name.
That blind man did absolutely nothing before his miracle came, he did not run after Jesus like blind Bartimaeus did (Mark 10:46-50) and am sure he was not the only blind man Jesus passed by his side during Jesus lifetime but mercy spoke for him. Where and when you least expected, Mercy will speak for you in Jesus Name. God bless you.
PRAYER:
Father, let your mercy speak fortunes, healing, deliverance, favour, promotions e.t.c into my life in Jesus Name
