Text : Proverbs 10: 1-25
22 AMP:The blessing of the Lord—it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].
Money is the driving force of any economy, it is called economic power, it’s like fuel in a vehicle it is needed to make it move freely, everyone needs it. The economic melt down in the universe has made money a matter of concern for many, it’s on high demand by many as currencies devalue and businesses are failing, everyone economic policy seems to have failed as poverty has become an household name.
Job no longer answer to solve financial crisis as very few jobs are available for many qualified people, even those we use to call lubricative jobs are no longer juicy as they use to be, individuals, families, organisations even countries seek solution to financial crisis.
From our text today it’s obvious that true riches comes from the Lord. Note this ‘THE BLESSING’ of the Lord….’the’ is a definite article, it connotes ‘no alternative’ ‘no other thing’ only God’s blessing can make you rich. The only thing that gives true riches is God’s blessing, knowing this….. everyone who desires true riches MUST seek Him, He alone can help you out of financial crisis, stop looking unto men, seek God and His kingdom, Look at this ‘ AMP:But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things ab]taken together will be given you besides. Matthew 6:33. Waiting on God is like a son waiting on his father to give him his daily bread and other needs, God watches over the sparrows He will definitely take care of everyone who waits on Him.
