Topic : VICTORY THROUGH PRAISE
Text : 2 Chronicles 20: 1-30
KJV: 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
KJV:23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
Life offers challenges at every level, battle show forth at one level or the other, but the key to victory for every battle is in our hands. Let me quickly say this; no battle is meant to overcome any child of God, God promised us victory always, no battle is strong enough to overcome us, Christ has already paid for our victory on the cross of Calvary.
ACTIVATING YOUR VICTORY.
Look at this : KJV:What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31
Praises attract God presence, when you praise you invoke His Spirit, no wonder when David began to praise God the evil spirit upon Saul left him, so praising God is invoking His Spirit and when you invoke His Spirit in areas where you have challenges and battles you can be sure of victory.
Jehoshaphat proved this in our passage, as he gathered the priests to sing praises to God, God let His Spirit lose to fight their battle to the point that they needed not to raise a sword. This is what God does of His praise singer. When you come to a cross road in your life and it seems there is nothing else to do, sign on to PRAISES, it will attract God’s presence and victory will be yours.
* LORD, help me to praise you even in trying times.
