Topic: A FAULTY FOUNDATION
Text: Psalms 11: 1-7 KJV
3. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
The foundation of a building is the most important part that cannot be taken with levity while building because it determines the extent of structure to be placed on it. If a builder made a foundation for a storey building and later decides to raise the house to 5 storeys, as he builds it will get to a point that an addition of just one building block will collapse the whole structure because the foundation can no longer hold the building being built on it.
Two boys Ammon and Moab, born by abominable act in Genesis 19:30-38 were constant enemies of Israel (II Chronicles 20:1), I imagined that some of the Ammonites and Moabites might have possibly desired to be good (to be right people, to be on God’s side) but could not because their foundation do not support them to be friend of God, rather His enemy.
Some people with faulty foundation, may be a curse (e.g curse of poverty) in their lineage, who make up their mind to be successful and do all humanly possible to be rich but you discover at the edge of their breakthrough they died. why? Its because their foundation which is faulty cannot carry riches but only poverty so rather for them to be rich, their lives went for it.
Dearly beloved, Jesus is a master planner and builder, a solid foundation himself(1 Corinthians 3:11), He can repair and rebuild your foundation, pray violently and ask Him to do so today. God bless you
PRAYER:
1. Lord every faulty foundation in my family be repaired in Jesus Name
2. Every evil foundation laid by my fore fathers be destroyed in Jesus Name
