Topic: MY REDEEMER LIVES
Text: Job 19: 1-27 KJV
18 Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.
25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
The Almighty God is our REDEEMER and because He lives their is hope. Job was a critical example of a man who experienced the worst and most terrible situation you can ever imagine in life. He lost his wealth, his family and his health. It was so critical that he was condemned and rejected by his friends and his household. Consider his words in verse 14-16 KJV
14 My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
15 They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
16 I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.
Amidst these conditions Job still had hope that all was not totally lost for him because he knew that his redeemer liveth (verse 25) and indeed his redeemer liveth because God restored him totally Job 42:10.
IMPLICATION
Because my redeemer lives:
1. There is hope of restoration
2. The defeat of the devil from the beginning is still assured John 16: 33
3. Devil has totally lost the battle over my soul
Dearly beloved, does your redeemer lives? Have you lost hope? Have you thought it is over with you? Don’t give up, don’t lose hope, it is not over with you yet because your Redeemer still live and He’s seated upon His throne. Just stand upon His words in faith. God bless you
PRAYER:
1. Father, turn around my situation and make me a living proof of your wonders
2. Shut the mouth of the devil and his agents over my life in Jesus Name
