Text : Proverbs 28:1-10
AMP:He who turns away his ear from hearing the law [of God and man], even his prayer is an abomination, hateful and revolting [to God. Proverbs 28:9
Some people wonder while their requests are not granted, though some have delay from God, who intends making things happen in His own time, but it’s dangerous to conclude so until you carefully observe that you are in right standing with God. From our text, anyone who refrains from hearing, obeying the word of God, his prayer is hateful to God. To God obedience to His word is the master key to answering prayer.
God honours His word more than His name, everyone who wants God to honour his or her word in the place of prayer must obey God’s word in his or her daily living. Nonchalant attitude to God’s word is the major hindrance to answering prayer, look at this KJV:If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7. when you allow His word to dwell in you, you live your life by His word, then you can ask anything in His name (JESUS) it shall be done unto you.
Examine your life carefully, can you still find lie, malice, adultery, stealing, fornication, lust, anger, unfaithfulness to your spouse? do you still patronise herbalist? how do you make your money? are you at enmity with anyone? you need to tidy up your life, the blood of Jesus is available to make you clean.

* Ask God to cleanse you from all uncleaninesses
* Make your request known, He definitely answer you.
