Topic: IN HIM IS LIFE
Text: John 1:1-5 KJV
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
The life in Christ offers as many as received Him, light that darkness cannot withstand. Isaiah 60:2 says For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. That is even in the midst of gross darkness, a child of God will still shine and glow because of the life of Christ within him.
However certain situations that represents darkness, even gross darkness like sickness, failure, confusion, lack e.t.c may presents itself in the life of a child of God, which ought not be. This most times may be because the devil likes to see if you know your right as a child of God, or if you are ignorant of your place in christ, or if you are beginning to lose hold of your faith in Christ or even sometimes he intentionally want to make your life a dumping site. You disposition towards those situations that represents darkness determines what happens to you.
Dearly beloved, when devil parades your life with darkness:
* Declare by faith the life of Christ into that situation and into your life.
* Be active and be aggressive about it
* Reject the game the devil tries to play with your life out rightly
* Don’t give him a place at all to mess you up Ephesians 4:27 because Jesus said you shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life John 8:12
PRAYER:
1. Decree abundant life in Christ to every situations that represents darkness in your life
2. I reject all forms of darkness in my life and family in Jesus Name
