Topic: DEALING WITH STRANGE FORCES.
Text : Jeremiah 50: 20-34
33AMP:Thus says the Lord of hosts: The children of Israel and the children of Judah are oppressed together; all who took them captive have held them fast; they refuse to let them go.
34AMP:Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is His name. He will surely and thoroughly plead their case and defend their cause, that He may give rest to [the land of Israel and to the Babylonian-enslaved nations of] the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon. Jeremiah 50:33,34.
If there are no contrary forces life would have been easier for everyone but ‘..we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world…’ these forces make things hard and tough, but good news is here; Christ gave everyone who accepts Him as Lord and saviour authority over them.
These forces manifest in bad dreams, strange occurrences, manipulation of good things, they bring disappointment, discouragement. They manifest spiritually and so they must be dealt with spiritually. To overcome them you must do 2 things
* Abstain from sin: they are dirty spirits and they dwell in dirty lives
* Be prayerful.
Today we’ll use our authority in Christ to destroy every strange force that is against our progress, some have been at a point for too long, as you open your mouth to decree today, forces that don’t allow for progress in your life will give up completely.
PRAYER POINTS
1, Every striving force with my life, perish by fire.
2, forces that keep me at a point, give up by fire.
3, forces that make my progress slow, lose your grip by fire.
4, powers that manipulate good things in my life, be frustrated by fire.
5, every strange hand holding my blessings, be paralysed.
6, l lose my spirit, soul and body from every form of captivity.
7, every monitoring spirit monitoring my progress, be blindfolded and go to exile.
