Topic: TILLING YOUR LAND
Text ; Proverbs 28: 18-28
:He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. Proverbs 28;19
Tilling is synonymous to cultivating, from our passage ‘He that tilleth his land …..’
* I want you to take note of the phrase ‘his land’, not just tilling any man’s land but his own land, ‘his land’ connotes his business, his work, his field, area of specialisation etc. It is absolutely important every man understands his area of specialisation, this is because no man can do everything, no man is good at everything and what work for Mr. Jack might not work for Mr. Jones, it is important everyman understands his area of specialisation.
* Tilling refers to cultivating, improving, developing, exploring, utilising and maximising your potentials. When you explore and utilise your potentials you are definitely tilling your own land, that is working in the line of your divine gifting, this is not trying to imitate someone else but doing what God has given you grace to do. It is dangerous to do things because others are doing them, there is uniqueness in your own style and method.
* The outcome of taking to the above instructions is that ‘…..you shall have plenty of bread’ this refers to PROSPERITY, there shall be no more lack, you shall eat your bread to the full, riches and wealth shall be in your house.
Endeavour to TILL, CULTIVATE, YOUR OWN LAND this week, God bless you real good.
PRAYER;
* Lord help me to discover my land.
* Teach me to till my land.
* Let my land yield increase unto me.
