PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
22nd October
Topic: YET HE IS THE LORD
Text: Romans 9:10-23
17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
A song writer wrote in her album “If I suddenly woke up from sleep and found that the world is upside down, that the bible is not true and that heaven is not real, I will still believe in you Lord because You live inside me, because I have known You and because You are true”. No wonder Paul wrote something similar in Romans 8: 35 that “What shall separate us from the love God…”
God is forever God and He does not change. From ages past to ages to come He remains the same. He does as he pleases and no one can question Him.
Though He smote Uzzah to death for his error of touching the Ark of God, yet He is the Lord II Samuel 6:6-7
Though He blessed Obededom for keeping the Ark of God in house for 3months. Yet He is the Lord II Samuel 6:11
Though He made Pharoah to show forth His power. Yet He is the Lord Romans 9:17-20
Though He chose to love Jacob and hated Esaw even before they were born. Yet He is the Lord Romans 9:11-13
Though He dealt with Aaron and Miriam for speaking against Moses because he married an Ethiopian woman. Yet He is the Lord Number 12:1-10
Though He took the Kingdom from Saul for his disobedience and gave it to David and in spite of the failures of David, God called him a man after his heart. Yet He is the Lord Acts 13:22
Dearly beloved, I can go on and on showing from the scriptures that what ever the situations or circumstances may be God is forever God. The lesson here is that If God is forever God and He does not change then He cannot fail. I sincerely pray for you that of all wonders that God makes with life of men, He will make yours a glorious wonder in Jesus Name.
PRAYER:
1. Father make my life a glorious wonder
2. Father I pray from today You will choose to have mercy on me
3. Father, in my life prove yourself in Jesus Name.
