Topic: KEEP THE DEVIL WHERE HE BELONGS
Text: Psalms 110:1-7KJV
1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy
strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. Psalm 110:1-3
From our text the right place the devil belongs is under the sole of your feet. In the bible text, God said to Jesus seat at my right hand until I make thy enemies thy footstool. So don’t worship the devil when you are suppose to worship God, and don’t celebrate your problem when you are suppose to celebrate the saving power of God available to deliver out of the problem.
A story was told in a book of a Preacher who dedicated time every Sunday service in the church to bind demons at the beginning of the every service, when the Holy spirit opened his eyes, he realized the demons increased in number every Sunday. They knew that the Preacher would cast them out but they enjoyed the fact that the preacher worship them (like he paid tribute to them or better still he showed respect to them that they exist) first thing before service every sunday by binding them even before the church worship God in praise and worship.
The bible said we should not be ignorant of the devices of the devil but let’s be careful while obeying that scripture not to turn the attention we should give God in quality worship to binding demons, devil or thinking about your problem.
In conclusion, focus your attention on God, and address the devil when it need be. God bless you
1. Father help me not to ignorantly worship the devil in your place
2. Help not to magnify my challenges above your saving power
