Topic : BUYING THE TRUTH
Text : Proverbs 23: 23
KJV:Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
Truth is defined as a fact that has been verified, ‘buying the truth’ refers to paying the price to getting the truth. Fact is accurate information about a matter, truth is accurate verified information about a matter, subject, circumstance, or life itself.
You need to understand your life is pattern base on what you know, believe and practise, if you’ve wrong knowledge about life you will most likely be getting things wrong.
A typical example is consuming things dangerous to health, everyone of us in our childhood days like consuming sugar because it’s sweet but as we get older we find out that too much of it is dangerous to our health. What are the things you believe and practise? you need to check them thoroughly, because they either make or mar you. There are good sources of knowledge that will elevate, motivate, educate, illuminate, inspire and transform your life. The word of God is first among all these sources of knowledge, spend quality time studying the bible, it will get you wiser and prosperous as you obey its instructions.
What do you seek on internet? pornography? things that only entertain you? Seek after knowledge that will change your level. Empower yourself with resources books and messages on CDs VCDs not movies that will only entertain you.
TRUTHFUL SAYING
* You can only live right when you have right information about life.
* The word of God (bible) is the source of all knowledge.
* Check what you believe find out if you’re on the right track.
* Give what it takes to get right knowledge.
